We had a very nice evening at Venga. It is a nice restaurant and the people are very kind. They let you choose where to sit in the restaurant, near the tv or the window... We were with 4 people, got some still water (free), 5 tapas, 2 bottles of douro wine and were very saturated. (PS the bruschetta was one per person, the other were to share)
This is one of the most amazing meals I've had in Portugal. The paella valenciana was delicious and the dessert mousse was so rich and chocolatey. Service was fantastic as well.
I really enjoyed this place. The food was really good, with a large variety of tapas (they also have some vegetarian options). Will definitely go back to try some other dishes.
Great design, good wine, friendly service, portions are generous and tasty. For the starter we took bread and mushrooms, black paella for 2 as a main course and couldn’t finish it and took away what was left - 43eur, with a bottle of wine. What could be better: They don’t have lunch menu and don’t accept non-Portuguese cards. Also both mushrooms and paella were a little too salty to my taste.
Awesome restaurant in Matosinhos. The local is cozy, the food is so good (I recommend you the bravas, best ones I ever tried) and all the staff is so charming and kind. You MUST go if you are in Matosinhos !
Super cosy space right in the heart of Matosinhos. The food is well prepared and tasteful and the staff, albeit young, very welcoming. Can't give the 5 stars since the service was a bit slow with situations like the fries coming up last when we already had eaten the rest of the food.
We understood that it was being difficult managing a full house night with the return of the "normality" after the pandemic and the beginning of the good weather.
We will come back and I'm sure I will be giving the full 5 stars!
Ps: Don't skip on desert. They are a must. And obviously the Passionfruit Sangria

I had a wonderful Tuesday night at Venga!!! Had some great tapas and a Chuleton rubia Galega! Good choices of wine!! Very alive and happy atmosphere with excellent choice of music, but was able to talk yo my friends without the problem that has previously in other restaurants where u have to yell to talk!!!
Strongly recommend this place, staff very nice, polite and attentive to service!!!
